Distribution Systems
KMG Distribution Conveyors are grouped into modules to form a distribution system that transports & distributes friable materials to any number of packaging stations. Our distribution conveyors are widely used in the snack food, breakfast cereal, petfood and confectionery sectors. The conveyors are the most hygienic and provide the highest throughput in the industry.
Features
- In line storage
- Line balance to match process capacity to packaging capability in real time
- Fully automated system; software and hardware controls by KMG
- Gentle Product Handling and virtually silent in operation
- Hygienic and fully welded sanitary designs
- Lowest energy usage vibratory conveyor on the market
KMG Distribution Conveyors are grouped into modules to form a distribution system that transports & distributes friable materials to any number of packaging stations.
Balanced gates require minimal energy to open and close, so no safety circuit is needed on a vibratory distribution system.
Twin lane systems can distribute two different products or flavours along the same line, with protective covers to eliminate the risk of cross contamination.
Our patented Autoflow + gateless system minimises product drops between machine transfers and is inherently safe in having no moving parts. A side mounted drive enables the product to be steered towards the machine’s outlet, in a straight line, or away from the machine’s outlet, depending on each packing machine’s demand.
An optional feature of all KMG distribution systems is the ability to store in line a proportion of product to allow for packaging machine reel changes or other adjustments to be made without the system starving or becoming full and rejecting.
KMG’s in-house software expertly controls the distribution to the weighers, giving product to the downstream buffer conveyor in a timely manner, weigher priority functionality to reduce product gaps in the system, run timer monitoring, stale timer control, all of which ensure the product in the bag is as flawless and fresh as possible.

Manufacture, Assembly & Testing
Our custom-built, 10,000m2 modern production facility enables us to build your distribution and seasoning systems to the highest standards.
Every KMG system is designed, manufactured, assembled and tested by us before dispatch and delivery to customers. We have a team of highly skilled fabricators, welders and fitters who take pride in the quality of their work.
We have a commitment of care to our workforce that ensures optimal health and safety practices and we embrace modern, efficient, and safe manufacturing methods.
Project engineers work closely with the production staff to ensure that your machines are built to the highest standards, within your agreed time-frame.
Depending on your requirements, pre-delivery inspections (PDI), software acceptance tests (SAT) and factory acceptance tests (FAT) can all be incorporated into the project timeline.
