Spreader Vibratory Conveyor
How do spreader Vibratory Conveyors work?
Spreader vibratory conveyors work by incorporating a long scarfed edge which discharges onto the downstream process feed at an angle of 90 degrees. This clever geometry causes product which starts out at a deep bed depth to singulate into a mono layer.
This type of machine is ideal for cereal infeed into the drier. Other equipment which is perfect for conveying breakfast cereal includes covered vibratory conveyors, spigot discharge vibratory conveyors and tubular vibratory conveyors.
It is also used for vegetable infeed into a freezer. Other KMG equipment which is designed for vegetables and frozen food includes grading vibratory conveyors, dewatering vibratory conveyors and laning vibratory conveyors.
