How do inspection vibratory conveyors work?
Inspection vibratory conveyors are usually used between process and seasoning, typically after the optical sorter or the de-oiling belt. This configuration ensures that only ideal product is transferred to the seasoning system.
Inspection vibratory comprise a wide shallow trough which spreads the product evenly and allows for accelerated cooling.
They are ergonomically situated at hip height with a reject gully placed at the operators convenience. The product is conveyed at a gentle pace past the operators, offering optimum visual inspection and time to select and remove any product which does not meet quality standards.

An inspection vibratory conveyor facilitates manual inspection of products as they move along the production line. By spreading the product evenly across a wide, shallow trough, it allows operators to visually identify and remove substandard items, ensuring consistent product quality without the need for costly mechanical or optical sorting equipment.
Typically positioned between processing and seasoning stages, often after an optical sorter or de-oiling belt, the inspection vibratory conveyor ensures that only quality products proceed downstream. Its ergonomic design, placed at hip height, allows for seamless integration and easy access for operators to perform inspections efficiently.
The conveyor is constructed with food-grade stainless steel and designed for easy cleaning. Features such as de-watering or fines removal screens, reject lanes, and product reject gates not only aid in maintaining hygiene standards but also simplify maintenance routines, contributing to low operational costs.
Yes, the inspection vibratory conveyor boasts ultra-low power usage, making it energy-efficient. Its robust design ensures reliability and longevity, resulting in very low maintenance costs over its operational life.
